Maccaro named Branch Manager at Bankwell in Norwalk

Vittoria L. Maccaro has been appointed Branch Manager of Bankwell’ Norwalk branch, it was announced by Ben Fetterman, Director of Retail Banking. A Vice President at Bankwell, Vittoria joined the bank in 2008 and has previously managed branches for Bankwell in Fairfield.

Prior to joining Bankwell, Vittoria worked at the Wachovia Bank Strawberry Hill Branch in Norwalk, where she oversaw business accounts and managed staff sales training and branch operations.

“Vittoria has been a great team leader and motivator and sets a consistently high bar for customer expectations,” notes Fetterman. “Based on her track record in Fairfield, and her knowledge of the local market, we believe that she will be a tremendous asset in heading up Norwalk team.”

Prior to her banking career, Vittoria had a career in the fashion retail industry. She is a long time resident of Westport, Connecticut, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
