Malnourished Children Lead to Arrest: Norwalk PD

The grandfather was charged, police said.

NORWALK, CT — A grandfather was arrested after two young children were found malnourished and bruised, according to police.
Calvin Brady, 39, was charged after a 2-year-old and 4-year-old were underweight and had bruises, according to the Norwalk Hour. The child's mother left the two children in Brady's care since December 2015.
The mother discovered bruises were covered with makeup and that the children were underweight with the younger one having a distended abdomen.
