Man, 32, Accused Of Sexual Assault On A Juvenile In Norwalk: PD
The incident occurred in October 2018, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A 32-year-old man was charged by Norwalk police this week with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor in connection with a October 2018 assault on a juvenile, according to authorities.
Arrested on Tuesday was Eddie C. Gonzalez, of no known address, who was recently extradited back to Connecticut from Florida where he had been incarcerated in connection with an unrelated crime.
Norwalk police developed Gonzalez as the suspect after receiving a complaint about the October 2018 incident.

Norwalk Police Detective LaPak obtained a search warrant for Gonzalez's DNA, "which was later found to be statistical match to evidence that had been recovered during the investigation." No additional details of the sexual assault were disclosed.
Last month, Gonzalez was extradited back to Connecticut in connection with a parole violation, and he was charged in the sexual assault case on Tuesday while at court on unrelated charges.

He is being held in lieu of bail of $300,000 and is due back in court at a later date.
