Man Accused Of Firing Shots In Norwalk Arrested: Police
A Norwalk man was arrested in connection to shots fired in the city last month, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was arrested Thursday in connection to shots fired in the city last month, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said the department received reports of shots fired in the Garner Street area of the city just before midnight on Jan. 6. Responding officers found evidence that shots had been fired in the area, however no injuries were reported.
Police later determined multiple suspects had fired shots at a person on Garner Street, Dinho said. Based on the investigation, police arrested two Norwalk men on Jan. 11.

After further investigation, police obtained an arrest warrant for Dashanti Ray Patterson-Hamlin, 29, of Norwalk, and arrested him Thursday, Dinho said.
Patterson-Hamlin was charged with first-degree criminal attempt at assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm and conspiracy to commit first-degree assault.

His bond was set at $200,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, Dinho said.
