NORWALK, CT — A New York man accused of putting a GPS and listening device on a person's car was arrested Thursday on electronic stalking charges, according to Norwalk police.
In a news release, Deputy Chief Terrence Blake said the arrest stemmed from an incident reported July 4 in which a person found a GPS and listening device on the ground next to their car in a residential driveway.
Police prepared a search warrant to identify the owner of the GPS and secure its contents. After an investigation, police identified a 31-year-old Brewster, N.Y., man as the person who placed the device on the car, according to Blake.
