NORWALK, CT — A Bridgeport man accused of stealing items from homes in Norwalk while residents were asleep was arrested Wednesday, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said two residential burglaries were reported Nov. 7, during which someone broke into houses in Norwalk undetected and stole items.

The residents were asleep in their homes during both incidents and called police the next morning after they noticed items were missing, Dinho said.
