Man Accused Of Using Child To Shoplift In Norwalk: Report

Police said a search of the accused's vehicle revealed $259 worth of items​.

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Bridgeport man is accused of using a friend's child to help him shoplift from a Walmart store on Main Avenue, as reported by the Norwalk Hour. Police said store security reported seeing the two placing items into empty backpacks Friday afternoon.

According to the Norwalk Hour, police located the young child in the store and later found Terrance King, 32, of Bridgeport waiting outside. The accused was arrested, and a search of his vehicle revealed $259 worth of items, police said.
