NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was arrested Wednesday morning on charges connected to burglary, robbery and home invasion cases in town, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino said a Lexington Avenue home was burglarized on May 22, in which cash was stolen and a television and other items were damaged.

A home invasion was reported at the same address on May 24, during which two men entered the home and stole cash at gunpoint, as well as a jacket, Gulino said. Investigators worked quickly to develop leads and identify suspects.

On Saturday, a second home invasion was reported at the same address, during which two suspects, one armed with a handgun, entered the home and struck a resident in the head with the gun, Gulino said. Cash was also stolen during this incident.

Investigators quickly determined one of the suspects was involved in both home invasions. According to Gulino, their month-long intensive work on the separate cases resulted in search and arrest warrants for two Norwalk men.
