Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Juvenile: Norwalk PD

Norwalk police said a 46-year-old Fairfield man has been charged with sexual assault following accusations of "numerous incidents."

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Fairfield man was arrested on sexual assault charges after police allegedly received information regarding "numerous incidents" involving a juvenile. The accused was arrested Thursday at his place of employment, police said.

According to a news release, police said the department received information on April 21 that Angelo J. Capoccia, 46, of Fairfield had allegedly engaged in "numerous recent incidents of illegal sexual contact" with a juvenile.

"Patrol Officer Ralph Devito and Special Victims Detective Tim Marquis conducted the investigation and corroborated the facts of the case," Lt. Terrence Blake said in a release. "An arrest warrant was issued for Capoccia, who was arrested at his place of employment in Norwalk."

Police said the accused is charged with sexual assault and risk of injury/impairing morals of a child.
