Man Charged In Stabbing Incident, Theft Of Cellphone In Norwalk: Police
Police said the person who was stabbed was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
NORWALK, CT — A city man was arrested in connection to a stabbing incident reported early Thursday morning in Norwalk, according to the Norwalk Police Department.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said officers were called to the area of South Main Street around 12:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived in the area, they found a man who told police he had been stabbed just below the collarbone in the upper left chest area, Podgorski said.

According to Podgorski, the man also reported his cellphone had been stolen during the incident.
The man was taken by ambulance to Norwalk Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Podgorski.

A description of a suspect was broadcast to other responding officers as police gathered surveillance footage from nearby businesses, Podgorski said.
Based on the information obtained and a review of surveillance video, officers located Cristian Euceda, 20, of Norwalk, in the area of Grove Street, according to Podgorski.
The stolen cellphone and a knife were both found in Euceda's possession, Podgorski said.
Euceda was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, first-degreethreatening, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree breach of peace and violation of beverage container regulations.
His bond was set at $500,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, according to Podgorski.
