Search Continues for Man Who Disappeared in Norwalk River: Police
An altercation just after midnight Friday resulted in the disappearance. Breaking.

NORWALK, CT — The search continues Friday for a man who disappeared in the Norwalk River following a fight, according to Norwalk police.
Three men were involved in the altercation near 22 Wall Streets in Norwalk early Friday, and all three ended up in the river. However, only two emerged.
"[Police] Officers observed two men climbing out of the river and observed a third in the distance, swimming towards the Wall Street overpass," wrote Sgt. Sofia Gulino in a statement." Officers immediately went to the area but lost sight of the man. A search ensued, with the Norwalk Police Marine Unit and the Norwalk Fire Department searching the river."

NBC Connecticut News reports that the altercation occurred just after midnight.
Law enforcement temporarily suspended the search until this morning, reports The Hour, but as of 11:15 a.m. the man had not yet been found.
