NORWALK, CT — A Massachusetts man was arrested after being found with cocaine and fentanyl in a bathroom stall at a McDonald's in Norwalk over the weekend, according to police.

In a news release posted to Facebook, police said officers were called to the Connecticut Avenue fast food restaurant Sunday after receiving a report of an unconscious man in the handicap stall of the men's bathroom.

When officers arrived, the man, later identified as Shane Michael Osullivan, 37, of Foxborough, Mass., would not respond to police or unlock the stall door. Officers also noticed a razor on the ground, police said.

When they were able to unlock the door, Osullivan was found sitting on the toilet fully clothed with a pocket knife, metal straw, measuring cup, a box of baking soda, propane torch and plastic baggies containing a white powdery substance in his possession, police said.

Police said Osullivan was slurring his speech and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He was later brought to Norwalk Hospital for treatment.

The white powdery substance, which weighed 11.69 grams, tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl, police said.

After his release from the hospital, Osullivan was taken to police headquarters and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to sell. He was held on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
