Man Groomed Minor For Sex: Norwalk PD

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was arrested after detectives found that he had groomed a minor to have sex, police said.

Police began investigating a sexual assault complaint in July 2017 and found that Nelson Perez Pineda, 21, had sexually assaulted a minor, according to police.

He was arrested Sept. 13 and charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

Bond was set at $25,000.
