Man Shot, Critically Injured At Norwalk Home: Police
Police said a man was critically injured and rushed to a hospital after being shot at a home in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — A man was critically injured Monday night after being shot at a home in Norwalk, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino said the shooting was reported at a Dry Hill Road home around 6 p.m.
Multiple police officers, along with paramedics and fire personnel, rushed to the home and quickly located the man and a handgun, Gulino said.

Paramedics provided emergency medical aid and rushed the man to Norwalk Hospital with life- threatening injuries. As of Tuesday morning, he is receiving care for his critical injuries, Gulino said.
According to Gulino, this is an isolated incident with no threat to the community and officers are investigating what led up to the shooting.
