Man Stabbed In Norwalk, Arrest Made: Police
A man accused of stabbing another man in South Norwalk was arrested over the weekend, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A man accused of stabbing another man in South Norwalk was arrested Sunday afternoon, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said officers received a report of a man having been stabbed on Ely Avenue around 2 p.m.
According to Podgorski, multiple officers responded to the area and provided emergency medical aid to the man, who was stabbed on the right side of his abdomen. The man was then taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

As an officer tended to the man, police located Jose Luis Pineda-Rodrigues, 45, of Norwalk, nearby. He was charged with first-degree assault and his bond was set at $100,000, Podgorski said.
