Man Tasered Following Vehicle Pursuit, Foot Chase: Norwalk PD

NORWALK, CT - Police said a man was tasered following a vehicle chase and subsequent foot pursuit Sunday night, the Norwalk Hour reported. He was then taken into custody, police said.

Police said Alexander Louis, 23, of Norwalk was spotted near Toys 'R' Us on Connecticut Avenue driving a car reported to be stolen, according to the Norwalk Hour. The suspect nearly struck a cruiser and sped off when officers pulled up next to the vehicle, police said.

After pursuing the vehicle onto Garfield Street, police said the suspect fled from the car on foot, according to the Norwalk Hour. He was later found and began to fight with officers, who used a Taser to subdue him.
