The Norwalk man, whose identity has not been released, has been contacted by police.

NORWALK, CT — A man who disappeared in the Norwalk River following a fight has been found alive, and nowhere near the water.
Information about the man was not disclosed, nor were details of the circumstances surrounding his discovery. He disappeared in the water off Wall Street following a fight at the El Mexicano Restaurant on Sept. 16, and though police did not say, he apparently made his way to solid ground.
"He has been located and interviewed by Detectives," wrote Lt. Terrence Blake in an email to Patch. "That is all we are releasing at this time."
