Maritime Aquarium To Host Champagne Anniversary Cruise
Help toast the Maritime Aquarium's 30th anniversary during a special adults-only champagne cruise.

From Maritime Aquarium: Help toast The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk’s 30th anniversary with complimentary champagne during a special adults-only evening cruise out onto Long Island Sound on Sat., Sept. 22.
This 90-minute cruise departs at 5:30 p.m. and is timed to include the setting autumn sun reflecting on the water. Get back in time to enjoy dinner or an evening out with friends just steps away in the restaurants and nightspots of SoNo.
Maritime Aquarium educators will be onboard to point out sights and wildlife, but there’s no formal presentation. Instead, the cruise is the chance to celebrate the Aquarium – which turned 30 years old in July – and to enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Sound. Champagne and hors d’oeuvres are complementary. “The forecast is looking like we’ll have a nice weather evening,” said Dave Sigworth, the Aquarium’s publicist. “With autumn officially beginning about three hours after we dock, this cruise truly will be one last bit of summer fun.”
