“This boat is filled with hard-working, fun-loving athletes that want to learn and grow in the sport. When we got to the A final, we talked about discipline, performing the race plan, and getting the bow ball ahead. Crossing the finish line and realizing they were national champions was a profound and exciting moment. They should be incredibly proud of their accomplishment. The second Maritime boat was also in the A final, and their team contribution should be recognized. Personally, I am thankful for Maritime Rowing Club. It is an amazing place for young athletes to develop” Laura Rauchfuss, Boys U17 High-Performance Coach

“These girls knew the task ahead of them, they’ve been preparing for this weekend ever since they lifted the U16 4X+ trophy last year. It is so exciting to build momentum on our squad; the work becomes fun. It is such a gift to be a part of team where these girls love each other as family and truly adore the sport of rowing. Maritime girls are just getting started, and our entire roster will use this win as a driving factor to unlock more speed.” Sorcha O’Donnell, Girls U17 High-Performance Coach
