May the Fourth Be With You!

Calling all Princess Leias, Luke Skywalkers and Han Solos! Stepping Stones Museum for Children is celebrating all things space, sci-fi and science with an out-of-this-world special event. "May the Fourth Be With You" blasts off on Thursday, May 4th for a weekend of space-themed fun and learning lasting until Sunday, May 7th

Awaken the Force within you and come dressed as your favorite character or show off your sci-fi tee shirt for these galactic-sized activities:

Thursday, May 4th

10:15 – 10:45 am • Paper U.F.O - Make a UFO using everyday household items that will rival the Millennium Falcon!

2:00 – 2:30 pm • Rocket Science - Pilot your own bottle shaped rocket high into the sky with a Chewbacca-sized stomp!

3:15 – 3:45 pm • Jedi Forces - Channel your inner Yoda and learn about invisible forces and how static/magnetic forces work.

Friday, May 5th

Saturday, May 6th

9:15 – 9:45 am • Planet Marble Painting - Use marbles, paint and imagination to create your own planets – like Naboo and Alderaan.

1:15 – 1:45 pm • Martian Slime - Learn how to make Jabba the Hutt-inspired alien slime.

The event is free with regular museum admission.

Stepping Stones Museum for Children is located at 303 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT, exit 14 North and 15 South off I-95. Museum hours are: Labor Day through Memorial Day, Tuesday-Sunday and holiday Mondays from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm; and Memorial Day through Labor Day, Monday-Sunday from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
