The McMahon boys lacrosse team dropped a triple overtime thriller to New Canaan on Saturday afternoon in Norwalk.
Matt Blasco scored with 2:20 remainung in the third overtime as the Rams rallied from a four-goal deficit in the fourth quarter for a stunning 8-7 victory.
The Senators, who dropped their second straight, slipped behind New Canaan in the FCIAC standings and dropped to 10-4 and 8-3 with a pair of non-conference games remaining in the regular season. New Canaan improved to 9-6 overall and 8-2 in the FCIAC.

McMahon appeared to be in control after Ivan Matson scored with just over 10 minutes remaining in regulation to give the Senators a 7-3 lead.
But New Canaan came storming back, tying the contest on a goal by Peter Kraus with just under two minutes to go in the fourth period.

Drew D'Antonio and Jake Conroy each scored two goals for the Senators while Matson, Ryan Scott and Scott McCormack tallied once.
McMahon, which was coming off a 12-9 loss to Ridgefield on Tuesday, closes out the regular season with games against Masuk on Monday and Glastonbury on Wednesday.
