McMahon Coach Elected to Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Fame
She will join eight other individuals to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, Sept. 16.

NORWALK, CT — The current field hockey coach at Brien McMahon High School will join eight other honorees as members of the Class of 2018 of the Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Fame.
Dani Brown, the English department chair at McMahon, is being inducted in the umpire category. A former standout player at Fairfield University, she began umpiring in 2004. She has officiated numerous FCIAC, SWC and state tournament matches, as well as the first and second rounds of the D-I and D-II NCAA tournaments and the MAAC D-I Championships.
