NORWALK, CT — A scheduled meeting today, Aug. 15, between parents of special needs students and Dr. Lynn Toper, head of Specialized Learning and Student Services, has been postponed according to school officials.
The reason for the postponement is a family emergency, but the meeting will be rescheduled for a later date, which has not yet been announced. The meeting had been scheduled for 6 p.m. at Norwalk City Hall.
In addition to Toper, Schools Superintendent Dr. Steven Adamowski also was scheduled to participate, as were Jeff Spahr, Norwalk SpEd Partners, Dr. Peg McDonald, CREC, and Terri DeFrancis, formerly of the state Department of Education.
