Mid-Day Music, February 24, 2016

The February 24, 2016 Mid-Day Music program features George Fergus, organ. The concert starts at 12:05 p.m. and lasts approximately one-half hour. The recital is free but donations are gladly accepted. A light lunch follows for a $5 donation.

George Fergus is a candidate for the Masters of Music degree at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, where he studies organ with Martin Jean. He is also the Organ Scholar at Grace Church New York City. Before moving to the east coast, George served as Organ Scholar at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, and holds a B.Mus. in Organ Performance from St. Olaf College. In addition to organ, he conducts opera and musical theatre, with credits such as Bernstein’s Candide and Britten’s Albert Herring. When not making music, he enjoys biking and discovering new craft breweries (sometimes at the same time!).
