Million-Dollar Court Settlement for Misdiagnosis of Patient with 'Worst Headache': Report
Dr. Donald McNicol, of the Norwalk Medical Group, reportedly agreed to the settlement.
NORWALK, CT — Margaret Gabriele, a former patient of the Norwalk Medical Group's Dr. Donald McNicol, will receive $2 million in a settlement over a misdiagnosed headache, reports Fox61 News.
Gabriele claimed she suffered an aneurysm in 2011 after McNicol misdiagnosed what she had referred to as the "worst headache" she had ever experienced.
Her lawsuit claimed McNicol failed to perform the correct tests to determine her condition, and she now suffers from permanent injuries.
