NAIOP Presents a Developers Showcase

NAIOP Connecticut & Suburban New York, a chapter of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association and George Comfort & Sons will host a Developers Showcase on Thursday, June 19, from 7:30-9:00am at Shippan Landing, 290 Harbor Drive, Stamford, CT.

Join fellow commercial real estate professionals and NAIOP at a breakfast program featuring the redevelopment project of Shippan Landing, a six-building, 775,000 square foot waterfront office complex owned by George Comfort & Sons. The event will include a light breakfast, presentation and tour of the significant renovations completed and in progress at this 17-acre waterfront property on Shippan Point.

Attendees will hear from Dana Pike, senior vice president at George Comfort & Sons. Pike will discuss George Comfort & Sons’ vision and plans for Shippan Landing. Recent renovations of the property included demolition of two buildings to open up waterfront views, a new façade complete with new lobbies and landscaping, a renovated cafeteria area with outdoor seating, and water-view patios.

Pike has more than 28 years of experience in the real estate industry. Before joining George Comfort & Sons in 2007, he was a partner and president of Williamson, Picket, Gross, Inc., a real estate firm offering brokerage, consulting, and property management services.  Pike is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a former board member of The Core Network.

Join NAIOP on Thursday, June 19 at Shippan Landing, 290 Harbor Drive in Stamford.  Networking with breakfast will begin at 7:30am and the program runs from 8:00-9:00am.  The cost for members is $25 and $45 for non-members. Register for the event on the NAIOP website or contact Sharon Moran, NAIOP executive director, by e-mail, smoran@ssmgt.com , or phone, (860) 243-3977.
