New Canaan Trades Its Cable News Celebs
Outta town: Glenn Beck; incoming: Joe Scarborough
Glenn Beck, who announced earlier this month that he is ending his show on Fox News, told an audience in Albany, NY on April 16 that he is also leaving New York.
According to Wire Update, Beck said that he had sold his home in New Canaan. Town records indicate Beck still owns the Ponus Ridge property that he purchased in 2005 for $4.25 million. The home is listed by the New Canaan multiple listing service at $3.65 million.
Those who are concerned that New Canaan will be down one cable news anchor should not despair. As Beck departs, , former U.S. Representative from Florida and current host of MSNBC's, "Morning Joe" recently put down roots in the "Next Station to Heaven."
