New 4D Experience To Debut At Maritime Aquarium In Norwalk
A "thrilling 12-minute sensory experience" will soon make its debut at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT —The Maritime Aquarium invites guests in Norwalk to come face to face with some of the world's strangest and most mysterious shark species at the aquarium's 4D theater.
According to a news release provided by the aquarium, guests can experience up-close, underwater encounters heightened by incredible special effects in BBC Earth's "Shark: A 4D Experience" starting July 1.
This thrilling 12-minute sensory experience explores the complex nature of a variety of species and the essential role they play in the health of our oceans, according to the release.

According to the aquarium, these extraordinarily intelligent underwater giants each exhibit unique behaviors to navigate their ever-changing environment.
Stunning 3D and special effects like water mist, bubbles and seat vibrations place guests right in the middle of the action as sharks reveal their hidden traits while roaming an eerily beautiful underwater landscape, according to the aquarium.

Additionally, "Fly 4D: Wild Flight to Africa" will play alongside "Shark: A 4D Experience," giving guests multiple adventures from which to choose.
According to the aquarium, family-friendly adventure "Fly 4D: Wild Flight to Africa" follows Gus, a tiny bird with a giant heart, who unexpectedly becomes the leader of a flock migrating thousands of miles to Africa.
Along the way, challenges turn into unforgettable moments of courage, friendship and teamwork.
The film plays in the aquarium's 4D theater, where the action extends beyond the screen with special effects such as wind, bubbles, mist and scents that bring the journey to life for audiences of all ages, according to the aquarium.
Tickets are $7.95 per person and $6.95 for members, and the 4D theater may be enjoyed with or without aquarium admission.
