New Assistant Principal Named At Norwalk Middle School
Jennifer Sweeters has been appointed as the new assistant principal of Nathan Hale Middle School, according to Norwalk Public Schools.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Board of Education has approved the appointment of Jennifer Sweeters as the new assistant principal of Nathan Hale Middle School.
She will serve alongside newly appointed principal James Crouch, according to a news release provided by the district.

Sweeters joins the Nathan Hale team from Wolfpit Integrated Arts School, where she has served as the assistant principal since 2021. Prior to her time at Wolfpit, she was an assistant principal at Norwalk High School, the Curriculum Instruction Site Director at Concord Magnet School (formerly Columbus Magnet School) and the administrator for the Norwalk Pathways Academy.
Sweeters joined the district in 2007 as a teacher at Brookside Elementary School, where she taught for the next 10 years. As a teacher, she aimed to provide a warm, supportive environment for developing students' academic, social and emotional growth.

Her experience also includes three years as the director of curriculum and education at Titan Tots Preschool and another three years as the administrator and education director for Shore Haven Country Club's Summer Camp.
Sweeters earned her bachelor of arts degree in English and Spanish from Western Connecticut State University in 2004. She then obtained a master of science degree in elementary education from the University of Bridgeport in 2005.
