New Chief Talent Officer Sought For Norwalk Public Schools

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Public School District's Chief Talent Officer Cherese Chery will be leaving the district at the end of the month, the Norwalk Hour reported. She had previously planned to leave at the end of the year to move closer to family near Hartford.

According to the Hour, Chery's last day in Norwalk will be Feb. 28. School officials said an interim Chief Talent Officer will soon be named to fill the position while a permanent replacement is sought.

Chery came to the district from New London Public Schools, according to the Hour. She has held her position since July 2016.
