New Exhibition Debuts at the Rowayton Arts Center in October

The Rowayton Arts Center is located along the scenic Five Mile River in Rowayton.

NORWALK, CT — A new exhibition entitled “Expressions” is scheduled to open at the Rowayton Arts Center on Sunday, Oct. 2, officials announced.

Featuring the work of both regional RAC members and non-members alike, the exhibition allowed artists the freedom to express themselves without restrictions on theme or medium, and organizers said attendees therefore should "expect surprises."

One surprise is the guest appearance of Connecticut Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff (D-25th), who will award the first annual “Senator’s Selection” prize. This will be a first for RAC and a first for Norwalk. Another prize for “Best in Show” is the $250 Mavis Fenner Memorial Award. The juror for the show is Sue Brown Gordon, a painter and jewelry designer. The exhibit is chaired by Yuko Ike and co-chaired by Judy Noel and Kaz Oda.
