New Board Members and Director of Family Services
2019 is off to a great start with the addition of 2 new members to the TTMF Board of Directors as well as a new Director of Family Services to our staff. Dr. Karen Sutton is a board certified sports medicine surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery and the Head Team Physician for USA Women's Lacrosse. Karen and her family reside in Riverside, CT. Laura DeShay is a Financial Planning and Analysis Director at Diageo. Laura and her family live in Newtown, CT. Karen and Laura had preemies born at 29 weeks gestation. Welcome to the Tiny Miracles Family! Farewell to Elisabeth Schneider, LMFT, TTMF's first Director of Family Services. Elisabeth was a member of the TTMF staff for 2 1/2 years. She brought support and guidance to many families of premature babies as well as our volunteer mentors. We thank Elisabeth for her many contributions to TTMF. Tiny Miracles is pleased to welcome Meaghan Hetherington, LMSW, as our new Director of Family Services. Meaghan brings with her extensive skill and experience as a therapist. We are enthusiastic to have her as a new member of the team. Welcome Meaghan!
