New List Reveals Best Grocery Store In Connecticut
Where can you go for the best grocery shopping experience in Connecticut? A newly released list may have the answer.
NORWALK, CT — While many in Connecticut may cite Stop and Shop or Whole Foods as their go-to grocery store, a newly released ranking may indicate there's an even better option out there. According to its list of the best grocery stores in each state, The Daily Meal has singled out Stews Leonard's as the best in Connecticut.
The grocery chain that prides itself on farm fresh options for customers has three Connecticut locations in Norwalk, Danbury and Newington. That may seem like a small number, but it may also be the only thing that can be considered small when it comes to Stew Leonard's.
The store proudly announces itself as the "World's Largest Dairy Store," and insists to customers who buy their milk that they would "have to own a cow" to get it fresher.

In fact, the store takes customer service so seriously that customers are greeted by a giant stone when entering the store that indicates the customer is always right. That's correct, its literally written in stone at Stew's.
A trip to Stew Leonard's can be considered a unique shopping experience, as customers are typically greeted by friendly faces, a large amount of free samples and a number of animatronic displays among other things. All of these are meant to invoke a feeling one is more likely to get when walking through Disneyland than a typical grocery store.
