The Azul Warriors played their first CT Cup game of the season against Southington at NHS. First half ended 0-0, a true battle between the two teams. A few minutes in to the second half the Southington girls scored on a penalty kick, which really triggered the Warriors to come back. Isabella Papadopoulos tied up the game 15min into the second half, and Bailey Duddy scored the second goal 10min left of the game, a great win for the Warriors and girls moving on to the next road. Despite the ever changing weather for the afternoon both teams worked through it.

The boys visited Danbury 2008, resulting in a 2-2 tie . Norwalk's Justin Maldonado found the net early, but Danbury struck back in the first half. With both teams in a state of equilibrium, the story for the afternoon was defense, especially Norwalk's impenetrable back field. NJSA's defenders kept Danbury from capitalizing on their shooting opportunities, making it a quiet day at the office for keepers Finn Strabley and Hudson Booth. Danbury scored in the second half, but the game knotted up in the final minutes on a penalty kick from Maldonado. In the end, with Norwalk and Danbury pulling even for this Mother's Day game, moms from both teams could go home happy.

The team dropped a hard fought game today, losing 2-1 at Trumbull. They were down quickly with Trumbull scoring the first goal a few minutes in to the first half. The Norwalk boys responded with a goal of their own when Sebastian Illa got the ball on the right corner and spotted Jack Baez in the front of the box who was able to deliver a strong kick to the back of the net leveling the score at 1-1. From there both the Trumbull and Norwalk defenses kicked in to high gear and were able to stop each team from scoring. Defenders Mateo Diaz, Jacobo Betancur and Daniel Cruz were able to prevent Trumbull from getting close to the goal and any opportunities Trumbull did have they were stopped by the goalie Jacob Mendez. Unfortunately the last few minutes of the game saw Trumbull intercept the ball in front of the goal and get a strike in that led to the final score 2-1.
