No Garbage Or Recycling Collection In Norwalk On Labor Day

Normal collection will resume Sept. 8.

Sept. 3, 2020

On Monday September 7, 2020 (Labor Day), there will be NO garbage and recycling collection services, and collection will follow the holiday schedule.

City of Norwalk Garbage and Recycling normally collected on Monday, September 7 will be collected on Tuesday, September 8. Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday and so on until Friday routes are collected on Saturday, September 12.

The Norwalk Transfer Station, located at 61 Crescent St., and the Yard Waste Site, located at 15 South Smith St., will both be CLOSED on Monday, September 7 and will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, September 8.

City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 7, and will be open by appointment-only starting Tuesday, September 8.
