Norwalk Company To Close, Layoffs Planned: Report
The closing will come at a cost of more than 35 local jobs.

NORWALK, CT – Calpine has announced it will be closing the main Norwalk office of North American Power, located on Glover Avenue, the Norwalk Hour reported. The company reported plans to close the office within a year to the Connecticut Department of Labor.
According to the Norwalk Hour, the closing will come at a cost of more than 35 local jobs. Calpine acquired North American Power in January 2017 for $111 million.
