Update: Norwalk 2016 Memorial Day Parade Cancelled, No Rain Date
The parade was scheduled for Monday, May 30, but bad weather is expected.
This story was updated at 5:57 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2016: According to the Norwalk Veterans Memorial Committee, there is no rain date for Monday's cancelled parade.

Original story: NORWALK, CT - Due to expected inclement weather Monday, Norwalk's 2016 Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled, according to Norwalk police.

The parade was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and run to approximately 12:30 p.m. It was to start at Veterans Park in East Norwalk and proceeds east on Van Zant Street, then north on East Avenue prior to concluding at the Norwalk Green.
