NORWALK, CT — Norwalk officials announced Friday the city will hold its 2023 Mayor's Ball on April 21.

According to a news release provided by the city, Mayor Harry Rilling announced in November he has selected local non-profit organizations Open Doors and Filling in the Blanks as the beneficiaries of the 2023 ball.

Open Doors strives to make a direct impact in the greater Norwalk area by guiding every person in the cycle of homelessness towards housing stability. Filling in the Blanks fights childhood hunger by providing children in need with meals.

Established as a non-profit charitable institution in 1993, the Mayor's Ball is an annual nonpartisan event that brings people together to help raise funds for local organizations selected by the mayor of Norwalk, city officials said.

The theme of this year's Mayor's Ball is "I Love Norwalk," and the event is being held at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa on 243 Tresser Boulevard in Stamford. Tickets are available for $200 per person and tables of ten can also be reserved, city officials said.
