Norwalk 2024 Christmas Tree Collection Schedule, Details Released
As the holidays come to a close, the city has released the January 2024 Christmas tree collection schedule for Norwalk residents.

NORWALK, CT — As the holidays come to a close, the city has released the January 2024 Christmas tree collection schedule for Norwalk residents.
According to the city's Facebook page, the schedule is based on the day of the week a resident receives their recycling collection. The day of the week a resident receive recycling will determine which week their collection will take place.

The following schedule was provided by the city:
- Week of Jan. 8: Residents who receive regular recycling collection on Mondays and Tuesdays
- Week of Jan. 15: Residents who receive regular recycling collection on Wednesdays (excluding any collection services on Monday, Jan. 15th)
- Week of Jan. 22: Residents who receive regular recycling collection on Thursdays and Fridays

- Residents should have trees curbside by 6 a.m. on the Monday of their assigned Christmas tree collection week.
- No plastic bags, lights, decorations or stands will be collected.
- Holiday wreaths will not be collected as these are considered garbage due to the metal wire.
Please note residents of the Sixth Taxing District are privately serviced for this collection and will not receive this service, city officials said.
This service does not include apartment complexes and condos. City officials advise residents to contact their building management to ask them about any potential Christmas tree collection services at their residence.
