Norwalk Approves Drive-Thru Recreational Marijuana Dispensary: Report
The dispensary will be located across the street from Lowe's.
NORWALK, CT — A drive-thru recreational marijuana dispensary has been approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission for Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, making it the third and final cannabis dispensary that will be allowed in the city, The Hour reported.
Shangri-La Connecticut, Inc. will be located at 71-75 Connecticut Ave., across the street from Lowe's, and could open by early next year. The company is also planning to open a second dispensary in the city at 430 Main Ave.
Fine Fettle, which has a location in Stamford, is slated to open Norwalk's third cannabis dispensary at 191 Main St.

At Shangri-La, customers will not be able to simply drive up to the Connecticut Avenue location and buy marijuana; they will have to preregister in the store in-person. Then future purchase pickups can occur at the drive-thru after first ordering online.
