Norwalk Art Space To Hold First Anniversary Celebration
The Norwalk Art Space will hold a first anniversary celebration in June featuring live music, a hands-on art experience, food and more.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Art Space will hold a first anniversary celebration June 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the ADK House, located at 455 West Avenue.
According to a news release, the event will be catered by Marcia Selden Catering, Bill Taibe and The Art Space Cafe.
Since opening its doors in June 2021, The Norwalk Art Space has welcomed over 14,000 visitors into its beautifully renovated ADK House, which is named after founder Alexandra Davern Korry.

The organization has hosted 12 art exhibitions, over 50 musical performances, and 15 artist talks and workshops in its first year, all free of charge, as well as three semesters of free weekly art classes for high school students.

According to the art space, the anniversary celebration will feature live music by Las Panteras, performances by The Norwalk Art Space Student Jazz Ensemble and Teen Talent Night singers, a hands-on art experience and an art exhibition featuring work by the new cohort of eight artists who will begin their year-long program in June.
Individual tickets to the event are $150, and sponsorships start at $2,500. To purchase, please visit thenorwalkartspace.org/celebration.
All proceeds will be used to support The Norwalk Art Space’s mission of offering free classes for under-served students, and providing free studios and exhibitions for local artists, according to the art space.
