NORWALK, CT — School officials said a Norwalk High School cafeteria worker accused of making threatening comments and bringing a rifle that was not loaded onto school grounds has been placed on paid administrative leave until the end of a police investigation, the Norwalk Hour reported.
According to a news release, Leslie Delaney, 69, of Hamden was arrested Tuesday after a School Resource Officer (SRO) learned a school cafeteria worker had a conversation with the accused, during which he allegedly said "if the co-worker saw him in his army fatigues, the co-worker should leave because he will have an AK-47 and that he could come to finish everything and then 'off' himself."
