Norwalk Candidate Profile: Charles Yost For 3rd Taxing District

NORWALK, CT — Election Day in Norwalk is drawing closer, and to help voters make informed decisions, Norwalk Patch is asking candidates running for elected office to fill out questionnaires to discuss the issues and their campaigns.

Below is a profile of Republican Third Taxing District Commission candidate Charles Yost, 72, a previous commissioner.

The married East Norwalk resident raised two children in the city. He also has four grandchildren in East Norwalk, and three grandchildren outside of East Norwalk.

Yost has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, and Masters in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University.

He is a Medicare sales agent at MedicarePlanAdvisory.com, and not only previously served on the Third Taxing District, but also served on the Board of Estimate and Taxation and the Planning Commission.

The single most pressing issue facing the district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

My goal is to provide good electric rates, high service and be an advocate for East Norwalk.
