Norwalk Chief Financial Officer To Resign At End Of Year
The city has announced Norwalk's chief financial officer, Henry Dachowitz, will resign at the end of the year.

NORWALK, CT — Mayor Harry Rilling announced Thursday the city's chief financial officer, Henry Dachowitz, will resign at the end of the year.
According to a news release provided by the city, Dachowitz has decided to take a new job closer to his home in New York City, and his last day with the city will be Dec. 29.

"We are sad to see Henry Dachowitz depart as chief financial officer for the city of Norwalk," Rilling said in a news release. "We appreciate his years of dedication to Norwalk and wish him the best of luck with his plans to move forward with a new position closer to his family."
Dachowitz has served as Norwalk's chief financial officer since 2018, and the city will conduct a national search to fill his position, Rilling said.

"It's been an honor and a privilege to serve the residents of Norwalk as Chief Financial Officer over the past five years," Dachowitz said in a news release. "I look forward to working closer to home and spending more time with my family."
