Norwalk Christmas Tree Collection Schedule 2023 Released
Christmas trees will be collected in Norwalk throughout the month of January 2023.
NORWALK, CT — Christmas trees will be collected in Norwalk throughout the month of January 2023 based on residents' plow routes.
According to a news release provided by the city, residents of the Sixth Taxing District are privately serviced for this collection.
The following schedule was provided by the city of Norwalk:

- During the week of Jan. 9, 2023, Routes 1-8 (Blue Zone) will be collected, which mostly includes residents who live north of Connecticut Avenue and west of Route 7.
- During the week of Jan. 16, 2023, Routes 9-16 (Red Zone) will be collected (except for Monday, Jan. 16, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday), which mostly includes residents who live north of I-95 and East of Route 7.
- During the week of Jan. 23, 2023, Routes 17-26 (Yellow Zone) will be collected, which mostly includes residents who either live south of I-95 and/or south of Connecticut Avenue.

Residents are asked to have their Christmas tree curbside by 6 a.m. on the Monday of their corresponding collection week.

No plastic bags, lights, decorations or stands will be collected. Holiday wreaths will also not be collected, as they are considered garbage due to their metal wire.
