Norwalk Coach Suspended For Sending 'Inappropriate' Meme: Report

School officials said a Norwalk basketball coach has been suspended after allegedly sending out an "inappropriate" meme by accident.

NORWALK, CT — School officials said a Norwalk basketball coach has been suspended for allegedly sending out an "inappropriate" meme, as reported by the Norwalk Hour. His suspension will last for the remainder of the school year, officials said.

According to the Hour, first-year Brien McMahon boys basketball coach Darrick Eason said he sent one allegedly inappropriate image to members of his team and coaching staff by accident through a social media application. He also said he self-reported the incident to the school and not all players received it.

Eason was hired to take over the program in late July and was suspended before a game in late January, according to the Hour. He also said he would like to return to the bench next year.
