Norwalk Contractor Arrested For Unemployment Fraud: Officials
The man collected benefits for years while still working, according to state officials.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was charged with collecting more than $14,000 in unemployment benefits while he was working as a roofing contractor.
Richard Verbanic, 32, collected money from January 2013 through May 2015, according to the state Division of Criminal Justice.
He was charged with first-degree larceny and unemployment fraud.
