Norwalk Disposal Permit Card Renewals Start July 1

The Resident Disposal Permit Card for residents with pick-up trucks, vans or trailers will be renewed Wednesday.

The Resident Disposal Permit Card for residents with Pick-up Trucks, Vans, and/or Trailers will be renewed on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at which time the one ton free disposal limit will also be reset.

Residents with Pick-up Trucks, Vans, and/or Trailers must show a current copy of the Disposal Pass for their vehicle to the Weighmaster at either the Norwalk Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site. Residents with Permit Cards who do not show the current Disposal Pass to the Weighmaster before Monday, July 6, 2020 will be placed in NO DUMP status. That status remains in effect until the current Disposal Pass is presented to the Weighmaster.

The Disposal Pass is required at the Norwalk Transfer Station and Yard Waste Site. Residents are required to have a paper 2020 Disposal Pass displayed on the driver’s side windshield for cars or SUVs that enter the Norwalk Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site.
