The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
The single most pressing issue facing our town is zoning enforcement, and and I intend to have our city manage overdeveloped and over-occupied properties within the rules as currently written.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
Norwalk has 15 council member, of which 14 are Democrats and one is a Republican. I would be the first to say that if it were the other way around, that's not a healthy democracy either.
The critical differences between myself and the other candidates is my ability to suggest "the emperor has no clothes" and open the council to further discussion rather than the 'rubber stamp' governing body it currently is.
Rather than more unanimous, one-dimensional 'yes' decisions from the council, Norwalk could benefit from a council that approaches an important issue with a "yes, and but it's complicated" response.
Accomplishments:
My career is an incredible journey that spans industries as diverse as music, bicycles, financial services, beauty supplies and indoor tanning products. I've had experience at all levels of the distribution chain, including manufacturing, wholesale, retail and know the challenges of each.
My roles have always been related to sales and marketing at their core, and and my responsibilities have expanded over time.
Other issues:
The three most important things in my campaign are:
1) Norwalk
2) Norwalk
3) Norwalk
What else would you like voters to know about you?
You have my commitment to listen and remember that your opinion matters more than my own.
