Because Norwalk was undefeated, it will get another chance to win the title on Saturday, when the teams square off again in a winner-take-all battle at Muzzy Field at 1 p.m. Branford, the top seed and defending Legion state champion, has won six straight games out of the loser's bracket after dropping its opening contest in the tournament. The winner of Saturday's game advances to the New England Regionals. Norwalk was its own worst enemy Friday, committing six errors, as Post 12 may have been victimized by a case of the jitters.
